Kansas City Kitchen

These are photos from a recent kitchen remodel that I did in Kansas City this past March. The client had oak cabinets on two walls of the kitchen and wanted matching cabinets on the third wall. We designed a simple surround cabinet for the refrigerator as well as an open cabinet for cookbooks and pottery and a lower open cabinet for the microwave. The object was to reuse as much material as possible from the pre-existing cabinet that was on that wall. We ended up being able to reuse the doors, crown molding and some plywood for the shelves inside the new cabinets.

We also replaced the old turquoise linoleum floor with new cork tiles. In the end it was a vast improvement.
